AMCC Symposium rescheduled to December 2 in Calgary

AMCC is pleased to announce that we have rescheduled our first annual Canadian Maintenance Industry Symposium: Shaping a Bright Future: Insights for Advancing the Canadian Maintenance Sector. Originally scheduled for September 16 in Jasper, Alberta, we have set a new date for December 2 in Calgary in advance of the Shutdowns and Turnarounds Superconference.

This Symposium brings together experts and stakeholders to discuss current challenges, opportunities, and emerging trends in the maintenance industry across Canada.

Event Details:

December 2nd
2 PM - 4 PM, with reception to follow
Calgary Marriott Downtown, Kensington Room

The symposium will formerly launch an AMCC undertaking that the board has been laying the groundwork for since January. We are convening an advisory panel comprised of industry experts and stakeholders to draft a Discussion Paper to guide AMCC strategic direction over the coming years.

A moderated Q&A session with the advisory panel co-chairs will anchor the event.

Our co-chairs are:

Robert Kucheran Senior Advisor, IUPAT, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Canadian Building Trades Unions
Mandy Kaiser Chief Operating Officer, Connect Group Inc.

In addition, guest speaker Mayor Jyoti Gondek will discuss Calgary's water infrastructure crisis and how she is sharing lessons learned to underscore the vital importance of infrastructure maintenance and the vital role of public and private sector partnerships.

To attend the event, please RSVP to AMCC Executive Administrator, Christina Low at info@AMCCanada.ca or fill out the form below.
