The 2025 President’s Report captures a landmark year of progress for Canada’s heavy industrial maintenance sector. This year marked a decisive shift from establishing AMCC’s foundations to driving coordinated national action grounded in shared priorities and industry-wide collaboration.

The report highlights the successful completion of One Industry. One Workforce. One Future., a national roadmap shaped through extensive consultation with contractors, owners, unions, educators, and government partners. Released in September, the paper provides clear, practical recommendations to strengthen mobility, predictability, safety, and workforce development across Canada.

Additional highlights include:

• Implementation of the Alberta 2025–2028 GPMA/NMA agreements, supported by AMCC’s new Key Highlights resource and labour relations workshops
• Growing national leadership, with AMCC contributing at the CBTU Conference, Supply Chain Canada West, NCLRA, BTA Convention, and the Shutdowns Turnarounds Superconference
• Strengthened cross-sector partnerships, deepened government engagement, and continued multi-province advocacy
• The launch of the AMCC Executive Advisory Council, introduced November 24 in Calgary, to guide implementation of the One Future paper recommendations and advance a coordinated, national voice for modernization and workforce development
• Organizational growth, including the appointment of Executive Strategic Advisor Doreen Cole and the election of new Board members Mandy Kaiser and Amir Shami
