AMCC is excited to announce our first annual Canadian Maintenance Industry Symposium: Shaping a Bright Future: Insights for Advancing the Canadian Unionized Maintenance Sectors to discuss current challenges, opportunities, and emerging trends in the maintenance industry across Canada. This symposium is being held in conjunction with the annual Building Trades of Alberta Conference.

- AMCC Cocktail Reception: 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm - Great Hall
- GPMC/NMC Meet and Greet: 6:00 pm - Beauvert Room
The symposium will also serve as the formal launch of an advisory panel comprised of industry experts and stakeholders to draft a Discussion Paper to guide AMCC strategic direction over the coming years.
A moderated Q&A session with the advisory panel co-chairs will anchor the event.
Our co-chairs are:
- Robert Kucheran: Senior Advisor, IUPAT, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Canadian Building Trades Unions
- Mandy Kaiser: Chief Operating Officer, Connect Group Inc.
In addition, guest speaker Mayor Jyoti Gondek will discuss Calgary's recent water infrastructure emergency and sharing lessons learned which underscore the importance of infrastructure maintenance and the vital role of public and private sector partnerships.
